Sapid Lynx

Sapid Lynx (born Sphesihle Ngonyama) is a talented rapper, singer, and songwriter from Durban, South Africa. Together with his long-time partner, Mhlengi Mdlalose, who goes by the stage name 'Navvy Blacc', they make up the dynamic duo known as The TrapCodes. They've been making waves since 2016, when they collaborated on a track that received rave reviews from their schoolmates.

He blends old formulaic elements of hip-hop and R&B with newer elements, taking advantage of the advancements of modern music production processes and techniques. He draws inspiration from a diverse range of musical influences, and his sound is unmistakably his own. His lyrics delve into a range of introspective subject matter, drawing from his own life experiences, including romantic relationships, family, friends, social issues, and his ambitions as both a person and a musician.
