Sandra Miraj

Popularly known as Sandra Miraj (born 5 march 1991), Sandra Umulisa is a hip-hop female artist from Kigali, Rwanda. She was born to Nadia Mukandutie and Ibrahim Saleh. She is the fifth in afamily of seven children. She attended Camp Kigali-Nyamirambo and St. Fidele schools. Her passion for music began when she was a little girl. She draws her aspirations from music icons such as Eve and Dabrat.

In January 2011, she released her debut song called ‘Best Friend’. The track was produced by Lick Lick’s Unlimited studio. This was followed by a song called ‘Impeta n’urupfu’ which featured Green P. She also featured in an all rappers remix called ‘Imari Iziritse’. Some of her songs include ‘Byakaze’ and ‘Icyemezo’.
