Rivic Jazz
Bio
Rivic Jazz is a record producer, DJ, and audio engineer hailing from Mpumalanga, South Africa.
Raised in the vibrant community of Mhluzi, Middelburg, Rivic's passion for music began early. At just 9 years old, he joined his local church orchestra, learning to play the French horn and later the saxophone. By high school, he was already directing the school band and composing original pieces.
In 2015, Rivic took a major step by building his own studio and diving into music production—drawing inspiration from icons like Marshmello, Daft Punk, Michael Jackson, Black Coffee & many others. While his musical background spans genres such as jazz, reggae, brass band, and gospel, his heart beats strongest for electronic and dance music.
His deep connection to sound naturally led him into DJing and professional audio engineering. He pursued his studies in Johannesburg, earning a degree in audio/sound engineering. Since then, Rivic Jazz has energized nightclubs and dance festivals with electrifying sets that fuse his broad musical influences into a distinct, high-energy sound—all rooted in his South African heritage and home brewed records.
