Rebel was born Miack Godknows Ziwira on 16 March 1994 at Edith Opamel Hospital in Harare. He is an upcoming dancehall artist from Zimbabwe. Growing up in the dusty streets of Mbare, a suburb credited for bringing up a number of musicians, he joined the music industry as a dancer. He was part of the Legendary Sounds choreography team.

While a dancer, he managed to share the stage with Smiley and the celebrated Tanzanian Bobby the dancer. His career as a musician began in 2013 following the release of his single titled ‘Kwatabva Kure’ under the Pure Niceness riddim. The song was recorded at Chill Spot Records by Levelz and DJ Fantan.

In 2014, he joined Star Alliance Media to care of his management. Under Star Alliance management, Rebel has managed to record at least three videos. The organization is run by a Tatenda Musambasi who is based in South Africa. Some of his singles include ‘Fashion Police’, ‘Waina Seusina Bondo’ just to mention a few. In 2014, he was nominated for the Zimdancehall Awards.
