Cebolethu Malinga, professionally known as Quekey, is a rising recording artist from Bhunya in Eswatini. Known for blending Amapiano, Afro-pop, Afro-soul, and gospel influences, his music focuses on uplifting and motivational themes that resonate with young dreamers and creatives. He began writing and performing songs at the age of 15, using his life experiences and aspirations as inspiration for his sound.

Quekey made his professional career debut in 2025 with the release of his breakout single “Ngiyavuma” featuring Morewish and TNS Savvy. Released on 13 February 2025, the song quickly gained attention after a viral TikTok video helped it reach a wider audience and introduced his music to many listeners across the region.

The success of “Ngiyavuma” opened doors for collaborations beyond Eswatini, including his appearance on the Afro-fusion track “Phupho Lami” alongside South African artists, which further expanded his reach in Southern Africa’s music scene. Through his growing catalogue and collaborations, Quekey continues to establish himself as one of the promising emerging voices from Eswatini.
