Q-Milly
Bio
Q-Milly is a songwriter, motivational speaker, inspirational & a gospel music artist based in Abuja, Nigeria. Born in Enugu, she had loved music as a child, miming and writing songs for recreational purpose. She was a member of drama & music groups while in primary and secondary schools. She also had great acting skills. In the 80s, at about age 8, she was a member of the famous Children’s TV series “Tortoise Club” by Nigerian Television Authority, Enugu, where she & other selected kids showcased acting & singing talents amongst others. She has been a choirister since Secondary school days.
In 2014, she created a Children’s musical group “holy young stars” who released a 7-track music video tiled “Quality Praise”. The album also had a drama which she featured in.
Q-Milly released her first album in 2018, a 15 track songs titled "CELEBRATE".
Born Millicent Egenti, she hails from Ifite-Dunu, Dunukofia L.G. in Anambra State. She lost her father at age 1 and growing up was tough as she and her older siblings were raised single handedly by her mother. She attended T. T. C. Primary school Enugu, Federal Government College, Minna, Niger State, obtained a Diploma in Social Work from University of Jos and a B.Sc in Public Administration from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, a Master degree in Public Administration from National Open University of Nigeria and a member of two professional bodies.
Q-Milly has performed in social events where she thrilled her fans with good music and African dance steps. One of her songs "Okirikiri", a culturally laced song won a CLGMA award as Best Indegenious song of 2019.
She is married to Lazarus Eke. They are blessed with 4 young children who are music lovers.
She has a pet project tagged "SCALE" - (Showing Care And Love Everywhere), to help the less privileged especially children in need.
