Bio
ProVerb (Tebogo Sidney Thapelo Thekisho) is a South African rapper, MC, radio personality, businessman, and brand ambassador. He was born on 12 April 1981. He was born and raised in Kimberly, Northern Cape.
ProVerb has built himself a highly respectable reputation within the media industry. His career started with him being a rapper and a sound engineer. Throughout his rap career, he has released multiple albums, such as “The Book of Proverb” (2005). Despite being a famous and well-known artist, he decided to hang up his boots and transition into other endeavours beyond music. He has since transformed his image into a polished, well-spoken media personality and businessman. Outside of his music, he is well known for being the host of Idols South Africa for multiple years, as well as being a radio show host where he currently works at Metro FM.
He is an advocate for education, as he himself has gone on to complete multiple qualifications across different institutions. His latest endeavour saw him graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Regenesys Business School in 2024. He is currently pursuing his MBA from the same institution. ProVerb is a multi-talented individual with an extensive list of achievements spanning decades. Amongst his many achievements is his published book called "The Book of ProVerb."
