Power FM 99.7

Founded in January 2013, Power FM 99.7 is an Urban Youth Radio station whose operations were designed to provide high quality radio content to urban listeners aged between 13 and 47. The station’s services are also bent on promoting Zambian Arts and Tourism. Its corporate culture was built on Victor Hugo's famous quote which reads "Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent". The station aims to be the only station whose outlook is to reveal, explore and debate developments that concern the youth as they happen in the World and in Zambia.

The station is currently broadcasting with a crystal clear digital HD signal in Lusaka, Chisamba, Chibombo, Kafue, Chongwe and Central province on 89.7 FM in Kabwe. It has a potential audience of over three million listeners whilst further growing its global listenership via online streaming.

Its main thrust is to reveal, explore, and debate developments that concern the youth. The station carries a unique fusion of local and international content combined with contemporary RnB, hip-hop, pop, soul, Zambian and African rhythms.
