Peewezel
Bio
Peewezel is a Ghanaian audio engineer and music producer whose work blends Afrobeat, soul, and traditional African rhythms into a rich, contemporary sound. Rooted in West African culture, his productions emphasize groove, texture, and emotional depth—music built to move both body and spirit.
Known for a hands-on approach, Peewezel produces his own beats and handles his mixing with precision, focusing on warmth, clarity, and raw musical honesty. His engineering work gained wider recognition after producing the live version of “Can I Live” by Ayisi, a performance celebrated for its powerful, unfiltered sound and award-winning impact.
As an artist, Peewezel is developing a distinct sonic identity under his own name, with plans for a debut EP that fuses soul sensibilities with Afrobeat energy and features select collaborators whose voices complement his textured production style. His long-term vision is clear and uncompromising: to stand among the world’s elite sound engineers while pushing African music forward without diluting its roots.
Peewezel represents a new wave of African creators—technically sharp, culturally grounded, and unapologetically original.
