The National Arts and Culture Awards

The National Arts and Culture Awards, formerly called the Tihlabani Awards, is a high-profile ceremony in Swaziland that celebrates local art and talent. The event is run by a 10-member committee that ensures a smooth running of the awards. The awards are corporate-driven, meaning that companies buy each category which they then brand. The categories include dance, film, literary arts, theatre, visual arts, media and music. The awards serve as recognition of musical and artistic excellence in the country.

Nominations are open to the public which nominates an ultimate winner under the following categories: Male Artist of The Year – Vocalist, Female Artists of The Year – Vocalist, Group of The Year – Music, Album of The Year, Newcomer of The Year, Popular Artists of the Year, Video of The Year, Song of The Year, DJ of The Year and many others.
