Naila Taquidir is a Mozambican singer-songwriter, vocal artist, and psychologist whose music is deeply rooted in storytelling and emotional expression. With a background in fine arts, drama, and voice work, she has built a multi-disciplinary career, blending her artistic, literary, and musical influences. Her journey began with self-released demos that gained traction among Mozambican DJs, leading to the independent debut EP “Situationship” and recognition in alternative and House music circles. Her voice has since shaped projects ranging from narration and advertising to electronic and acoustic collaborations, reinforcing her ability to adapt across genres. Selected for XHUB’s emerging artists program and featured in Cooperativa Musical under PROCULTURA, Naila is actively shaping Mozambique’s alternative soundscape, using her platform to bring authenticity and innovation to the industry.
