Mzwakhe Myeni

Bio

Mzwakhe Myeni is a former Ncandweni Christ Ambassadors member from Manzini, Swaziland. Mzwakhe started singing with his brother Timothy and sister Thabile for more than a decade when they launched Ncandweni Christ Ambassadors. They soon became known throughout the country and later added other family members to the group. He also worked hard on his solo projects and recorded his debut solo album, ‘Mfazi Wase Samaria’ in 2002.

In 2010, he went on sabbatical and decided to do more promotions in South Africa where he runs recording stable that has gospel Lundi under its wing. He came back with the release of an album titled ‘You Can Face Tomorrow.’ The album has 13 tracks.

In 2012, he launched an album called ‘Umhlengi Wami’. The project featured songs such as ‘Wena Nami’, ‘Wesitha Sami’, ‘Ananiya Nosafira Bafa’, ‘Noma Kunje’ and ‘Kubuhlungu ukulingwa’, ‘It’s Not Over ’,‘ Impilo KaJobe ’, 'Till the Storm' and 'Sibongigazi'. The album received airplay on radio stations SBIS and the Voice of the Church (VOC).

Apart from composing and singing, Myeni is also President of the Association of Christian Artists of Swaziland (ACASWA).
