Born Mzukhona Wedu, Mzu is a South African musician (rapper, songwriter, performer and record producer) whose music is a fusion of authentic storytelling, hard-hitting rap and soulful melodies.
Known for weaving the IsiXhosa language and culture into his music, Mzukhona delivers performances that are raw and poetic and his craft is deeply connected to his roots.
From his raps and afro soulful choruses, he brigdes tradition with contemporary Hip Hop representing both the older and new generation.
