Bio
Antony Munetsi Matambanadzo, best known as mUnetsi is rap artist from Harare, Zimbabwe.
mUnetsi attended Oriel Boys high school. He has been around the hip-hop scene since the late 1990’s. He made his debut recording in 2007 with underground classic ‘Muzukuru Wagogo’. His music is popular for its close connection to real social issues.
In 2012, he was awarded a Victor Award gong in the Song of the Year category. He was also nominated for another award at the Zimbabwe Hip Hop Awards. In 2008, he released an album titled ‘Word Tour’ which featured the single ‘Seven Days’. In December 2012, he released a single ‘Ghetto Slogan’.
