Mr Rebel

Mr Rebel is a dancehall artist from Chigumula, Malawi. Signed to Loc Entertainment, his music is a fusion of Jamaican dancehall fused with Malawian elements. He sings in Chichewa and English languages. He has on several times quoted saying that he credits the success of his career to Sean Loc entertainment. The recording stable is known for producing high quality productions. The chief executive officer of the company labelled Rebel as one of the most talented artists he has worked with apart from Ace Dirty, Teebs and Jeelz, Dan Lufani and Piksy.

In 2013, the record label closed and he signed to Authentic Records. That same year, he released an album called 'TBA'. The album was launched following his successful digital release of ‘Check Mate’. He is also known for songs such as 'I Get High' featuring Slyk (produced by St Bosseratti), 'Rockabilly Cats From Hell', 'Killing It Str8 Up', 'Spread My Wings' and many others. He has also worked with others artists. He featured on Josh's song titled ‘She’s All I Need’.
