Mr Damz

Mr Damz is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, producer, and worship leader known for blending Afro-gospel rhythms with praise and worship themes. Growing up in a Christian home in Kaduna, he developed a passion for music early on, serving in church choirs and campus fellowships where he honed his musical skills. 

Career

He officially started his professional music career around 2015 and has since built a name for himself in the gospel music scene, particularly in northern Nigeria. His sound fuses local language elements like Hausa with English and Afrobeat rhythms, creating music that resonates broadly. 

Breakthrough & Music

Mr Damz gained widespread recognition with the hit single “Yesu Da Dadi” (meaning “Jesus is Sweet”), which became popular across gospel music listeners. He also released a remix of the song featuring notable gospel artist Solomon Lange. 

He has several other songs and releases such as 'Yesu Da Dadi Remix', and 'Kpe Yeisu' (Single, 2025).
