Mo Hawk Rap Khalifa

Muhammad Kah, best known by his stage name Mo Hawk Rap Khalifa is a hip-hop artist from The Gambia. He started his music career in the 1990s with the defunct rap group called Da Fugitivz. He later pursued a solo career. He is also a sound engineer and a producer at The Block Entertainment Music Group record label.

Rap Khalifa is known for rapping about the ills of the society. In 2010, he released a debut album titled ‘Mo Hawk’. The project features fifteen tracks. In 2014, he won the Best Gambian Artist of Year category. Some of his songs include ‘No More Mr Nice Guy’, ‘Sama Yaye Demna Ndarr Acoustic’ featuring Musa Ngom, ‘Nu Mui Demee’ featuring Gungee and Eboi, and ‘Oooh Ooh Boukarabou’.

Besides music, he is (as of April) pursuing a Diploma in Sound Engineering at Birmingham Metropolitan College U.K.
