Misoji Nkwabi

Misoji Nkwabi is an Afro-fusion musician from Tanzania.

Nkwabi began singing music by other artists at the age of 10. In 2008, she worn the Bongo Star Search singing competition in Tanzania and recorded her first album called ‘Utu wa Mtu’ that same year.

In 2009, she was invited by Mombotzmusic Production in Germany to perform in a musical play called Mama Sambona. In 2012, Nkwabi joined the College of Arts to improve her vocal and learn more about music.

While studying, she started the Afrijam band, which later changed to Timisoj Band. The band has performed at such events as Karibu Music Festival, Marahaba Swahili Music Festival, Bagamoyo Festival and Sauti za Busara Festival.
