Mike Campbell_Bongani Sotshononda Big Band

The band is a project driven by Bongani Sotshononda and Mike Campbell, featuring the indigenous sounds of Bongani’s marimba-driven music arranged by Mike for an 18-piece jazz band and marimba. This is an original concept which brings together contemporary African styles and the big band tradition. The music is accessible, appealing to young and old.
