Bio
Candice Mokobodi better known as "McDowell", was born (16 March 2005) in Thembisa, South Africa. She currently resides in Polokwane, Limpopo and she is an artist and songwriter at TGA Entertainment.
McDowell's musical endeavors began in a church choir. After singing in church, she started writing her own lyrics, although recording wasn't part of her pursuits at that time. Her taste in music encompassed hip hop, RnB, and Afro pop. In 2023, McDowell embarked on recording music after partnering with TGA Entertainment and The Gang Authority. Her collaboration with O.G Black on the track "Release The Dragon" marked the beginning of her exploration of diverse genres. Additionally, McDowell lent her voice to Mr Cater's amapiano track "With you".
