Bio
Master George Kaudi's musical journey began at a young age, singing at the Children of God Pentecostal Church. His talent soon led him to join music groups such as Isabelo and Immortal. As his skills gained recognition, he appeared in music videos alongside notable artists like Debra Frezer and collaborated with Jonny Clerk.
In 2005, Master George Kaudi joined the acclaimed Soweto Gospel Choir, a three-time Grammy Award winner. This opportunity took him on international tours to destinations including London, Portugal, Australia, and the United States.
In 2021, Master George Kaudi, alongside Bongani Mabaso and Lungelo Moti, co-founded the African Union Choir. The group has garnered international recognition for its cultural diplomacy and artistic excellence. Notably, they were invited to Russia to perform at the official opening of the House of Africa, showcasing African musical heritage.
On Russia Day, 12 June was not mentioned but rather 11 June 2025, the African Union Choir was specially invited to perform at the Russian Embassy. They delivered a memorable performance, rendering the Russian and South African national anthems, as well as the Russian folk song "Moroz, Moroz." The Russian Ambassador commended their professionalism and the role of their music in fostering international friendship, awarding them a formal letter of gratitude.
Through their music, the African Union Choir aims to bridge cultures and promote unity, underscoring their mission as ambassadors of African musical heritage.
