Marlon Hove

Marlon Hove is an award-winning Zimbabwean music producer andrec ording artist, born on August 21, 1996, in the city of Bulawayo. He is best known for his signature fusion of Amapiano with traditional gospel sounds, bridging contemporary beats with messages of faith and hope.Hove was born and bred in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. He attended Helemu Primary School and went on to complete his secondary education at Njube High School. His passion for music began during his childhood, heavily inspired by African giants like Wizkid and Asake. He officially stepped into the music industry in 2013 while still in school.Drawing inspiration from his up bringing in the high-density suburb of Njube, Hove began producing and releasing projects that blend the popular Amapiano genre with gospel themes. His breakout EP, The Dusty Streets of Njube, gained significant traction. Notable projects and highlights in his career include:"Umile Njalo" (2023): Released in collaboration with gospel artist Innora, this Amapiano gospel track achieved widespread popularity and introduced his signature sound.2023: Received multiple nominations at the Pumula Royal Arts and Community Awards (Praca).2024: Nominated for the Mzansi Arts and Media Awards (MAMA), cementing his footprint in South Africa.Current EndeavorsWhile born in Zimbabwe, Hove is currently based in South Africa, where he operates as a professional music producer and recording artist.
