Marion Shako

Bio

This gospel artiste started singing in the Sunday School Choir.Being a pastor's daughter she also wanted to minister to God. It is with this ambition that she joined The Jesus Celebration Center Church in Mombasa and after becoming a worship leader, she started writing her songs and subsequently she produced her debut album 'Msaada Wangu', which was well received nationally.

Marion has managed to garner several awards which include; Worship Song of the Year in 2008, Groove Awards,Songwriter of the year in Groove Awards 2009, Female Artiste of the year in the 2009 Coast Awards, 2009 Cellulant ringtone of the year for her single 'Ahadi Zake' and Best Female Artiste for the 2009 Talanta Awards among others. Marion Shako continues to be inspired to minister through music by a prophesy of a prophet.
