Mamcada Hadsome

Mamcada Hadsome, born Mathias Mussa Ngelela on February 11, 1996, in Bukombe, Ushirombo, in the Shinyanga Region of Tanzania, is a Tanzanian artist, actor, entrepreneur, and industry executive whose work spans music, film, and talent management. He is the founder and CEO of CADA Entertainment, a growing music and entertainment company that manages artists, organizes events, and produces original content in East Africa.
Raised in a Sukuma family, Mamcada grew up immersed in cultural storytelling and Swahili music. His early interest in rhythm and poetry evolved into a full creative journey as he began writing spoken word and experimenting with vocal performance during his teenage years. Encouraged by a teacher and inspired by the energy of Dar es Salaam’s creative scene, he moved to the city to pursue his passion professionally.
Mamcada's music career officially launched in 2016 with small shows and independent releases that introduced his distinct fusion of Afrobeats, Afro fusion, Afro Bongo, hip hop, and spoken word. He gained national recognition with the release of “Ole”, followed by the high-profile remix featuring Kaash, a Nigerian artist based in Ghana, and Prince One. The success of these singles helped establish Mamcada’s brand as a versatile and socially conscious artist.
Over the years, Mamcada released several singles that resonated with both Tanzanian and international audiences, including “Slow Slow”, “Half Girl”, “I'm in Love” (released in 2025), “Pole Pole”, and “Welcome to Tanzania” featuring Bongo Zozo. His collaboration with Code Killer on the song “Nita’Die” brought a sharp lyrical edge to his discography and expanded his fan base across digital platforms like Apple Music, Shazam, and Mdundo.
Beyond his own music, Mamcada has worked with a wide range of artists and creatives including Davil Tz, Amber Rutty, Gazza, Jack Saffi, Cnga Pool, Mike Moonnight, Prince One, Wylumva Ngongoseke (a Tanzanian-American artist), and many more. These collaborations have helped him bridge sounds across East Africa, West Africa, and the diaspora.
In 2024, Mamcada expanded into film marketing, taking on the role of Marketing and Event Manager for the Tanzanian action film “Cops Enemy”, produced by John K-ay, a Burundian-Australian actor and filmmaker. The movie premiered at Mlimani City Mall and was broadcast in partnership with Azam Media. His coordination of the premiere was seen as a strong example of East African creative business leadership.
As the head of CADA Entertainment, Mamcada has managed and developed talents such as Director Shaibu, John Migila, Amber Rutty, Davil Tz, Fammi Africa, and Fama. Under his leadership, the label has grown into a respected brand representing emerging voices in Tanzania’s urban music scene.
Mamcada is known for writing music that blends emotional depth with rhythmic storytelling. His lyrics explore topics like love, heartbreak, ambition, struggle, and culture, often mixing English and Swahili to connect with broader audiences.
