Magogoz

Magogoz is a Namibian kwaito music group that has been together since 2004. It consists of Sion Mushinga, Oscar Julius, Toto Ndameshime and Absalo. Their debut single was ‘Kandishishi’ (which means I don't know) (2006).

In 2014, they released two singles ‘Mamutjavi’ (How are you guys?) and ‘Nyembeze’. ‘Mamutjavi’ is a track that was sung in English, Afrikaans, Oshiwambo and Otjiherero languages. ‘Nyemebeze’ is a song that was originally done by a South African Afro-pop musician called Lazarus Kangudi. The group did a remix of the song. In 2014, the quartet launched a 19-track album called ‘The Anticipated Big 4’. They have worked with artists such as The Dogg, Tre VDK, Fresh Family, Ompuff, Zanel, Kanibal and Miki Mouse.
