Maestros Chords
Bio
Maestros Chords is a creative studio under Maestros Leadership Company, established to develop music driven cultural projects that shape identity, inspire transformation, and contribute to the evolving narrative of Africa.
Rooted in Malawi and operating with a Pan African vision, the studio is led by Executive Producer Charles Lipenga, an Architectural Designer, public speaker, and music producer. His multidisciplinary background influences the studio’s approach, combining structured thinking, storytelling, and creative expression to deliver projects with both artistic and social impact.
Maestros Chords is the creative force behind Mama Afrika: The Pan African Project, a conceptual album designed as a five phase narrative journey. The project explores Africa’s story across time, from its origins and pre colonial strength, through historical disruption, into awakening, present realities, and a forward looking vision of unity and progress.
Music serves as the foundational base of the project, intentionally used to initiate engagement and reach diverse audiences. Beyond the album, the initiative is designed to expand into a broader creative ecosystem, including film, live performances, interdisciplinary collaborations, and youth focused engagement platforms across the continent.
Through this approach, Maestros Chords is building more than a catalogue of music. It is developing a Pan African creative platform that connects culture, identity, and innovation, while contributing to a new generation of African storytelling.
