Bio
Lwazzy is a talented singer-songwriter from KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, who launched her music career in 2017.
She gained local recognition with her Gqom hit "Tiri Tiri," performing in clubs, parties, and events around Durban. In 2018, she relocated to Johannesburg to further her music career and collaborate with fellow artists.
In 2019, Lwazzy transitioned to the Amapiano genre with her hit single "Tomato Pele Pele," which received positive feedback from fans and marked her successful foray into a new style. Known for her distinctive rap style and captivating stage presence, Lwazzy's music is designed to get people moving. Her vibrant personality and style, including her signature green hairstyle, have contributed to her growing popularity worldwide.
With the support of her local community, Lwazzy has worked with prominent DJs and artists, releasing notable tracks like "Qondomaks" (2023) featuring Sbhanga, and "Amkeni" (2024) alongside Carlos Kom4t. She has also collaborated with international artists, including Mukabya Junior from Uganda, ANS1 from Australia, Tonny N from England, and Lux Voo from New York.
As a multifaceted artist, Lwazzy is also the owner of IYASHISA ENTERTAINMENT, a record label that showcases her entrepreneurial spirit. Recently, she has released several exciting tracks, including "Twerka" (2024), and an EP titled "Zama Zama" (2024).
Her 2025 releases include "Vula" and "Bank Balance," further solidifying her position in the music industry. Lwazzy has built a strong social media presence, promoting her music through energetic dance videos and securing regular gigs in Johannesburg clubs and events.
