Lulama Lofani

Lulama Lofani, a passionate gospel musician, hails from the Eastern Cape's rural side in South Africa, specifically from Cofimvaba, Qamata, Maya Location. His musical journey began at Gando JSS, where he was introduced to music by Mr. Somhlahlo, who served as both his Mathematics and music teacher. Lofani's love for music blossomed during his time at the Senior school, where he also founded the Student Christian Movement (SCM) alongside Bongani Duna, Mzwanini Mbana, and Xolisa Ngqelana.

In 1995, Lulama Lofani relocated to Cape Town, where he immersed himself in church music, assuming roles as a conductor and music teacher. In 2004, he took a professional leap and initiated the Gospel group "Gates of Heaven," assuming responsibilities as a manager, producer, and backing vocalist. His solo music career commenced in 2010, and since then, Lofani has released more than 5 albums and over 100 singles.
