Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys is an alternative art-pop and indie band led by South African singer-songwriter Lucy Kruger. Known for their haunting, atmospheric sound and emotionally charged performances, the project blends elements of indie, art rock, slowcore, and experimental pop.
Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Lucy Kruger began her music career as a solo artist before forming The Lost Boys and relocating to Berlin,Germany, where the band is now based. Their music is characterized by minimalist arrangements, dark cinematic textures, and introspective storytelling that explores themes of vulnerability, intimacy, and human connection.
The group has released several critically acclaimed projects, including Sleeping Tapes for Some Girls, Teen Tapes (for performing your own stunts), and Transit Tapes (for women who move furniture around), followed by their later works that further established their presence in the international alternative scene.
