Already becoming a household ame as a disciplined profe sional soul, jazz and rnb vocalist to ever emerge in South Africa post 1 999, Kevin Maduna is winning the hearts of SouthAfrica's music enthusiasts with his smooth SO"ds. Born and bred in dusty streets Of Diepkloof Soweto, this young I-jiban soul •azz and RNB crooner began his music journey at a tender age and later embarked on a pursuit for musical excellence and technique, when he studied and obtained his Diploma in Music Performance and Jazz Voca S at the Central Johannesburg TVET college in 2013.
After a few years of honing his skills and also building an impressive portfolio, today Kevin is seen as one of South Africa's next big things to hit the music industry. It is for this reason that South African music business pioneer, Peter Tladi, gave Kevin a nod of approval when he was crowned the winner of Puisano live Music competition in 2014, a Gauteng's Department of Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation initiative to promote local artists. This accolade has seen Kevin perform at some of the headlining festivals and most sought after stages such as the Moretele Tribute Concert, Go West! Heritage Festival, and Standard Bank Joy of Jazz to name a few.

Kevin Maduna's aims to bring a fresh and unique sound to South Africas soul, jazz and RnB scene. He has released 3 singles that he composed and produced, a soulful jazz song called Luphelile in 2015, a song titled Mama dedicated to his late mother and a deep house single titled Love of my life both released in 2020.
The young maestro got an opportunity to spread his wings to international shores in 2018 when he was hired by the Afro Arimba agency; where he was worked on major stage productions in cruise liners in Italy, France, Greece, Brazil, Argentina, Spain and Dubai to name a few. It was this training that gave him the confidence to return home and enter the internationally acclaimed music competition SA Idols, where judges have used words like "consummate performer" and "melted liquid gold" to describe his stage presence and impressive vocal skills.
He did the incredible when he finished 4th in the competition and has since achieved celebrity status. Above all, Kevin desires to break away from the moulds that r or "perfect' music. There is a wealth of colour in African soul r inspired music and He believes its time we invest in a culture of indulging in our own music morthe international music dictated by social standardization.
He has also carved himself a remarkable path as one of the msought after tenors having had the privilege of working with greats in the industry such as Americ gospel superstars such as Donnie Mc'Clurkin and Juanita Bynum, Lion King Composer Lebo M, a musicians such as Margaret
Motsage, Lebo Sekgobela and one of the best gospel...
