Jah Master (born Rodney Mashandure on 20 December 1996) is a Zimbabwean Zimdancehall artist, songwriter and performer widely recognised for his distinctive vocal style, compelling songwriting and unique sense of fashion. Over the years, he has established himself as one of the leading voices in Zimbabwe's contemporary dancehall movement, earning a loyal following through his energetic performances and relatable storytelling.

Jah Master's musical journey began around 2010, and by 2016 he had already become a familiar name within Zimbabwe's Zimdancehall scene. His breakthrough came in 2019 with the release of the hit single Takasangana Mutaundi, a chart-topping success that propelled him into the national spotlight and cemented his status as one of the genre's most promising stars.

In 2020, he achieved further success with Hello Mwari, which featured in NashTV's Nash Nation Riddim 3 competition. The song became a viral sensation, accumulating more than one million YouTube views within weeks of its release and inspiring the popular #HelloMwariChallenge across social media platforms. The challenge attracted widespread participation from fans, influencers and fellow artists, further expanding Jah Master's reach and influence.

Known for his prolific creativity, Jah Master revealed in a 2019 interview that he had written and recorded hundreds of songs, reflecting his dedication to his craft and his commitment to continuously creating new music for his audience.
