Jooce is part of a new wave of South African artists redefining Afrikaans R&B. Originally from and currently residing in Kirkwood, Eastern Cape, his journey and sound are rooted in real-life experiences from his community.
With a smooth vocal style, emotional storytelling, and modern production, his music blends international R&B influences with the authenticity of Afrikaans culture.
His sound delivers the feeling of global R&B while remaining uniquely local — creating a fresh lane within the Afrikaans music scene.
With over a decade of dedication to music, Jooce released his debut EP "XIII: Verewig" in November 2025, marking the beginning of a new era for Afrikaans R&B.
