JJC

Real name Abdul Rasheed Bello was born on April 4 1977 in Kano Nigeria and based in London.

He started out as a Producer, working with top International stars like Lamar, Jamelia, Ginuwine, Liberty X, Booty Luv etc He co-founded the UK Garage group "Big Brovaz", which had a UK Top 10 hit in 2003. He split from the group and formed his own group JJC and the 419 Squad.

JJC and the 419 Squad released several hit singles, including "Gbao", "Atide" and "Kilonsele". They also performed on several stages including WOMAD and were featured on BBC TV. JJC on his own was at one stage a BBC Xtra Radio DJ.

JJC has won several awards including the KORA in 2004, BEFTTA, Nigerian Music Awards and many more.
