Jayd-ThePoet

JayD-ThePoet is a multi-talented artist who graces his audience with euphoric and mesmeric sounds. Previously a choral choir singer, his music stems from singing in the school choir to recording surd pieces in the studio. His years in music have been marked by unique experiences, from bedroom studio production to being a self made artist. Previously employed at X studios in 2019, he worked with various local artists and producers including, Master Zhoe, Dj Drumz, Lance Hebron, Zhezhingtonz, Zagoe Radge helping to shape the local music industry. He has vibrantly shared the stage with Enzo iShall, Bazooker, Ti Gonzi, Asaph. His presence in music has been marked by winning awards in various platforms including the local TESMA Awards. Currently a free lance producer and a solo artist, he is a dedicated artist who's eagerly building his portfolio by diversifying his music and mix it with poetry. He blends emotional afropop and country guitars with pop drumlines and vice versa hence giving his music a unique touch.
