Bio
Jay Steez ZM is a Zambian rapper, songwriter and producer with an ice cold flow. Throughout his youth and early adulthood, he has dedicated his life to the advancement of his career. Jay Steez ZM was born on September 20, 1999 in Lusaka, Zambia and attended Longridge private school, followed by Kamwala secondary school, where he completed Grade 12 in 2017. At the age of 17, he completed the Diploma in Banking and Finance at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA). Throughout his career, Jay Steez ZM has developed a love for rap and learned how to produce on his own.
At the age of 17, he released his first album, L.A.S (Life After Success). A year later, in 2019, he released his collaboration album with his cousin Nenani (N.Star) titled "TrapSZN". He released his first EP later in the year called “S.A.D EP”, which sparked his first hit single “Losing Interest”, which went on to become a fan favourite and gained a lot of streams and downloads. During the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2020, he released his second collaboration album with Nenani, titled “Quarantine Soul”.
In 2020, Jay Steez ZM released hit singles "Drip" and "Purple Haze". In 2021, Jay Steez ZM released "Calabasas" and "No Delay". The year ended with the release of his highly anticipated rap cypher single, No Frauds, with Raybron Travis, True See, Nenani, King Troopy, and international artists King Firo and Lil Head (South Africa) and Saint Lew (U.S.A.). Jay Steez ZM's new music and upcoming album H.O.P.E side A and side B feature American hip-hop recording artists Saint Lew, True See, King Troopy, Lil Trippy and many more.
