Jallow Jerry

Jallow Jerry (real name Ebrima Jallow) is a Gambian hip-hop artist whose music career started in 2013. He released his first single titled ‘Suma Yai’ followed by another single titled ‘Woman of Ma Life’.

In 2014, he released singles such as ‘Jallow Eksina’, ‘Dowarr’ and ‘Dem Rekk’. All the songs were recorded at Negrophil and TJ recording studios. His lyrics advices the youths to work hard and give them hope to strive hard in life. In 2015, he organised a free concert hip-hop artists in The Gambia. The event attracted hip-hop artists from Senegal to embrace the culture of hip-hop as a positive message to reach to audience.

Jallow Jerry is an active member of hip-hop headz a group promoting hip-hop culture in The Gambia. As of March 2016, he was working on an extended-play (EP) for his fans.
