Early life

Ishaku Awudu, better known as J-klohn was born in Wukari, Taraba State. His parents are from Wukari, Taraba state, both of Jukun-Nigerian descent. He attended Calvin Memorial Nursery and Primary School, Wukari. J-klohn has six siblings. During J-klohn's listens to tracks from Lecrae, NF, Spokesman, Da Truth, Classiq, and Johnny Drille. J-klohn's venture in the hip hop world started while in his higher institution in the year 2018. While pursuing a career in Sociology, music was one of the things he held with passion. He performed regularly at Church vigils and later music concerts. His impressive rap flows and attitude gained him a high place in his city, Wukari.

Career

Ishaku began his music career in the year 2018. Finding his place in an industry dominated by the likes of MI Abaga, Falz, Classiq, Ice Prince, and A.Q. His single "Blood on the Cross", (a song which he parodied popular Nigerian songs in its lyrics) which gathered impressive airplay, downloads and streaming. The track also earned him an award at the Kwararafa Entertainment Merit Award (KEMA). After the award, Ishaku dropped hit songs ranging from "Church bash" to "You can". Ishaku has collaborated with both gospel and secular artist, yet stick to his faith and remains a gospel artist.
