Innocent Mdala

Innocent Mdala is a gospel artist from Mchinj, Malawi. His passion for music started when he was a teenager. He was taught how to play a guitar and drums by popular musician Dan Lufani. Dan prompted him to work on his first song and encouraged him to avoid using instruments. Before venturing into music, he was a tyre fitter at a local filling station. His job allowed him to save money for studio recording.

Shortly afterwards, he managed to record his debut album titled ‘Mulungu Amaona’ (2014). Besides music, he is a boarding master at Saint Theresa Pvt School in Chiwembe.
