INKENKQE is a new age Xhosa folk band with a contemporary twist and a jazzy touch.
Their sound explores the traditional Xhosa chants reinterpreted with a fresh outlook. The groups's music speaks about family upbringing, living in modern South Africa to general view about life and culture.
The group comprises Sinelizwi Hole (leading vox), Phakamile Msizi (Alto sax and flute) and Kumkani Mtengwana (MD, guitarist and vox).
