IAkeys
Bio
IAkeys (born December 19, 1999) is a Nigerian recording artist, music executive, and entrepreneur, one of the emerging independent figures in African music in the early 21st century.
Israel Abel grew up in Taraba, where he was raised with a deep passion for both music and business. His early experiences shaped the vision of independence and ownership that would define his career. Performing under the name IAkeys X, he began releasing original music that blended R&B, Afro-soul, and cinematic soundscapes. His debut album, Fallen Wings, introduced him to a wider audience, followed by the EP Dreams Across Realities and singles such as Paper Wall and Climb.
Abel later founded his own company, EverGreen Empire, to control his masters and publishing and to build a platform for other artists. The label has since developed into a growing cultural brand with an artist-first model, while IAkeys X has gained over ten million streams across digital platforms. His work as both creator and executive places him among a new generation of music moguls shaping the future of the global industry.
