Born in 1998, Abdul Rahim Bakayoko, known professionally as Himra, emerged from Abidjan's vibrant Cocody district to become a dominant figure in African drill music. His artistic journey began within the group SBS before he transitioned into a powerhouse solo career defined by his signature "Majin" aesthetic. By blending aggressive rhythmic energy with sophisticated storytelling, he pioneered a raw style that resonated across the continent. His recent projects, including the acclaimed 2024 release Jeune & Riche, solidified his status as an international performer by 2025.
