Hakstrombonist

Born in Lusaka, Zambia; Hakoola Steven is an intermediate trombonist as well as pursuing his Bachelor's degree in transport and logistics.

It was during his high school days that he started peregrinating with a descant Recorder as well as singing, from which he concluded that he would one day become a trombonist.His hard work and determination did not deter his ambition. Steven performed in different organisations such as Alliance Francie de Lusaka, Irish embassy, Bojangles, sports council, malls, weddings and other hotels which includes the southern hotel all together with the Vivo music and entertainments. Also featured in Makofi movie episode production.

Despite being pulled out of music to do a different program, Steven is still able to live and able to play the trombone during holidays from school.

Artists such as Peter Steiner, Brilliant Muyunda, Paul cupbell and Lisa Liz serve as a tremendous source of inspiration for Steven. He admires their ability to seamlessly blend various genres and effortlessly fit into different music categories. Their versatility inspires him to push boundaries and explore new musical avenues.

He served as a trumpet and trombone tutor at UCZ, currently partnering with the Vivo music and entertainments as a trombonist of which he has played in different events and still playing with them. And also a trombone tutor at chalimbana university in the school band.

Hakstrombonist looks to heighten his trombone personal and hopes to play on some of the biggest stages locally as well as internationally. He hopes to someday make a name that is always spoken
synonymously with entertainment whether festivals, radio, club, party, or any event. Not only that but he has a clear vision of changing the Mind set of the Zambian perceiving that a trombone can't play something sweet like the viola or cello.
