Hakim I (born Paluku Hakim) is a talented artist born on October 7, 1999, in Gisenyi, Rwanda. His life and music are shaped by his journey across East Africa, having lived in Rwanda, Burundi, and Congo before moving to Uganda. Today, he is known as a hardworking musician, songwriter, and professional barista.
As a rising star in the Ugandan music scene, Hakim I brings a fresh sound to African music. He is best known for his ability to sing in many languages, including English, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, and French. By mixing Afrobeat, R&B, and Afropop, he creates music that connects with people all over Africa and the rest of the world.
