Bio

Known to his fans as Goodchild, Alexio Gwenzi is a Zimbabwean artist who was born in the 1980s in Inyanga. He grew up in Kwekwe but later moved to Harare in 2009.
He did his primary in Kwekwe and his high school at Guinea fowl high in Gweru then later finished his A level at Chaplin high school. He holds a diploma in Human Resources Management, a diploma in Journalism and Communications and a Bachelor in Business administration degree in computer and management of information systems that he is yet to complete.

Growing up Good child has always been a singer in church and in school, presenting special performances at assemblies during his school days. He shot to fame with his first single titled ‘Iwe Fadzai’ (2003). The song was well-received both on national TV and radio.
This was followed by his second album which carried hits such as ‘Paunondinyerekedza’. His third album ‘Tadziya’ (2011) also made an impact in the music scene. It featured songs such as ‘Taura Naye’, Shuwa featuring Shinso, ‘Wandoda’ featuring Shinso and Trevor Dongo, ‘Ini Newe featuring Sniper Storm among others.

In 2013, he did the main theme song for Miss Carnival 2013 called ‘Carnival Queen’ which he performed with over 30 dancers on stage. He is a TV presenter who has presented ZTV’s programs such as Coca Colla on the Beat’. He is also an actor who featured in a movie called ‘Dystopia Paruzevha’.
