Bio

Hailing from South Africa, FREDDY L is an alternative three piece band based between Durban and Cape Town. They balance Alternative indie influences with endemic, South African singer-songwriter sensibilities.

Originally established as a solo project by lead singer Ntuthuko (Freddy) Lalendle, the group expanded in 2023 with the addition of Reece Berkeley on drums and production, alongside Niclaus Duvenhage (p.f.a Spectr) on bass and production.

The group has since released several singles, with their debut track, "Hold On," marking a strong entry by climbing the charts across various platforms. Following this success, the band has consistently delivered new music, maintaining momentum and promising even more exciting projects for their growing audience.

FREDDY L have since embarked on a journey to bring their live set to the world; one that delights the ears, warms the heart, & fills the soul.
