Freaky OB is a seasoned DJ,
Amapiano & Afro House producer with over a decade of experience behind the decks. A passionate music lover, he began honing his craft in his late teens, driven by a deep connection to rhythm and the dancefloor. Over the years, he has built a solid reputation for his infectious sets and distinctive sound that blends traditional Amapiano elements with global influences.
Previously signed to Amagents Records, Freaky OB has released a string of well-received projects, including Freaky OB Amapiano
Journey and The Unexpected EP. His catalog showcases standout tracks such as “Freaky OB Africanism”, “Freaky OB Arab”, and “Freaky OB Sonini”, each reflecting his innovative approach and love for cross cultural sonic exploration. On stage, Freaky OB has brought his energetic sound to audiences across South Africa.
He has performed at “How to Throw a Party” at Jacaranda in Cosmo City, where he shared the stage with 25K and Kelvin Momo, as well as at “Jerusalem Lifestyle”, performing alongside Young Stunna. These performances have cemented his place in
the vibrant Amapiano scene, showcasing his ability to hold his own among the genre’s heavyweights. Known for his dynamic collaborations, Freaky OB regularly works with artists like Thokzero, MaPreh, Guyguru, Kelvin Gesh and LuudaSA, further expanding his musical reach.
