Focus Ryremire

Focus Ryremire is a gakondo (traditional) musician from Kigali, Rwanda. He was born in Uganda and moved to Rwanda like many other Rwandans. He is one of the artists in the country who has dedicated himself to restoring the country’s culture through songs. He draws his aspirations from artists such as Cicile kayirebwa and Cyprien Rugamba. Some of his songs include: ‘Ntacyo Uramenys’, ‘Imfizi Yatonoye Ihembe’, ‘Bihogo’, ‘Urakowe’, ‘Ikijigija’ and many others mainly in the traditional genre.
