The Fiz

Bio

The Fiz is an independent, versatile Afro-pop, hip hop, and dancehall musician born and raised in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga, South Africa. His real name is Fundhile Kuhlula Sibuyi, also known as TIPITT or simply The Fiz.

He is an accomplished sound engineer, vocalist, rapper, songwriter, and content producer, with solid experience in the music business.

By day, The Fiz works in the logistics industry, dedicating his off-duty hours to building his music career. With nearly a decade of experience, he composes across a variety of genres including Afro Pop, Hip Hop, and Dancehall, adapting to the nature of each project and collaborating with different musicians and producers.

He has worked with artists outside South Africa, such as Nigerian artist and producer Dr Jazz (Naija), and collaborated with award-winning South African producers like Dee R, Candisonic, and several emerging talents with the likes of Marthie Nel Hauptfleisch These collaborations have resulted in standout projects including: With an EP with Marthie Nel Hauptfleisch #XimumuXaSummerEP

Currently, The Fiz I am working on a EP project scheduled to be released in November 2025 on all major digital platforms. The track, a radio-ready hit, was produced, written, and recorded by The Fiz himself. It draws inspiration from personal relationship challenges, expressing heartfelt emotions and a sense of longing.
