Ficy Ronz

Ficy Ronz, pseudonym of Ronald (b. 09 October 2004), is an up-coming reggae and rap artist from Kampala Town, Uganda.

His first interest to music has born from two principal sources of inspiration: the Jamaican artist known as Koffee, in which he sang and practiced on Koffee songs and the notorious singer Fireboy Dml, whose songs made Ficy Ronz try to write his own lyrics. He became even more convinced of pursuing a career as an artist after singing on the live show of his Song Cant Forget, an experience that encouraged him to perform live more frequently as well.

He first became widely popular when, in 2021, his ode to social media, named “Mum”, posted on Instagram, was shared by the funs themselves, eventually blowing up on the social platform.

Eventually, this song made him experiment a vortex of positive feelings, as he debuted at the relevant Rebel Salute Festival, he received alot of inspirations from Burna Boy and another contemporary super-star of Hiphop, Juice Wrld & Tems
