Fatma Zidan

Fatma Zidan is an Egyptian and Danish singer and composer.

She is also a trained harpist, teacher and project development professional. She has lived in Denmark for 13 years, but grew up in Egypt.

Her musical talent ranges from classical to modern Arab pop music. She has been a regular part of the Egyptian opera for seven years and worked with the greatest Egyptian pop stars. In 2008 and 2010, Zidan won the Danish Music Award in the Best World Track category.

Zidan is a versatile artist and her voice spans not only several octaves, but also different genres. She has both been a regular singer in Cairo Opera choir and collaborated with several of Egypt's biggest pop singers.

Although her music spans several different genres within Arabic music, most of her songs are about love. It was also love which brought her to Denmark in 2007 .
